في إحدى الليالي

في احدى اليالي، مابين الحياة والموت طريق النور، فما أنا إلا محاول مستنجد بالنفس الأخير، تتعالى الصرخات، وتتزايد الصراعات و تنهمر الأمطار وتتفجر الابار، في منطقة لا يزورها إلا ثلة من القتلة، طلبوا حقهم من قاضي جائر ظالم، فما كان من جندي أعزل إلا بان يكون ندا وسندا في سبيل الدفاع عن النفس الأخير، فما أنا إلا منتشي على كلام العقلاء، و مخمور على مشاعر الشعراء، فما أنا إلا كل شيء ولاشيء، فما أنا إلا محارب استنزف ولكن أبى ان يركع، فالركوع لغير النفس ذل وفجور، فمن أنا؟ ما أنا إلا محارب اتخذ من الكلمة سلاحا، ومن المرسامِ كتابا، فما أنا إلا روح مقامرة في سبيل جماليات الحياة، وما أنا إلا المختار، فما لي من رفض الواجب إلا خيانة، فمن أنا؟، أنا من سيكتب تاريخ الأجيال ومن سيحكم الساحات ومن سيحيي ما استبيح دمه، فما أنا إلا أعجوبة الأرض والسماء.

On one of the nights, between life and death, there lies the path of light. I am but one struggling, clinging to the last breath. Screams intensify, conflicts escalate, rains pour down, and wells burst forth, in a region visited solely by a band of assassins, who sought their rights from an unjust and oppressive judge. Hence, an unarmed soldier had no choice but to stand as both adversary and ally in the struggle to defend that last breath. Thus, I am but one intoxicated by the wisdom of the learned and drunk on the emotions of the poets. I am everything and nothing. I am a warrior, depleted yet resolute in my refusal to kneel, for kneeling to anyone but oneself is humiliation and depravity. Who am I? I am a warrior who has made the word his weapon and the drawing his book. I am a gambling spirit in the quest for life’s beauty. I am the chosen one, and for me, to refuse my duty is nothing but betrayal. Who am I? I am the one who shall pen the history of generations, who shall rule the battlefields, who shall breathe life into what has been unjustly drained. I am nothing but a marvel of the earth and the heavens.
