وما السر إلا أنا

وما السر إلا أنا، وما الهامش إلا أنا، وما الخيبة إلا أنا. فمن أنا؟ لا أعلم. ولا يعلم غيري. فأنا الكل، وأنا اللاشيء. أنا المنتظر، وأنا الغائب. أنا الصوت، وأنا الصمت. أنا الحاضر، وأنا السر. فلا تسأل عني، فما لي جواب إلا في داخلي. وداخلي لا يُباح لأحد.

The secret is nothing but me. The margin is nothing but me. The disappointment is nothing but me. So who am I? I do not know. Neither does anyone else. I am everything, and I am nothing. I am the one waiting, and I am the one absent. I am the voice, and I am the silence. I am the present, and I am the secret. Do not ask about me, I have no answer except what is inside me. And what is inside me is not permitted to anyone.
